FLOWER OF THE WEEK: DELPHINIUM
Delphiniums, or larkspur, are beautiful garden plants, which are vital for the biodiversity of your garden. If you decide to plant them in your garden, you should bear in mind the following:
Choose well-draining soil as delphiniums don’t like standing water. Also remember not to plant more than 5 plants per square metre, as they don’t like to be overcrowded.
Ideally, the plant should be repositioned every two years to reach its full potential. However, it doesn’t have to be a long way away; one metre between plants is enough.
